Devotional Garden,  2014

 

"We absolutely love our garden and would so highly recommend Kan to anyone wanting to have an incredible experience creating something magical at their own place.

 

When we first met Kan and viewed his folio of works from his time designing traditional Japanese gardens in Kyoto, we sensed there was something incredibly special about his gifts and experience.  We had decided that we wanted a sacred garden at the entrance to our house, to spend precious moments every day in reflection and gratitude. Kan was exactly the right person to create this vision. He listened very carefully to our ideas and came back with a plan that perfectly combined all the elements we had desired.

 

It was actually when he got started on the physical creation of the garden, that we witnessed his unique quality, which is his ability to work in flow with nature and bring forth that which nature is desiring. Once we had established our budget and timeline, we watched him get underway with such incredible dedication to the project, deeply contemplating every step along the way, putting all of his heart and soul into his creation.  The end result is nothing less than a true work of art."
